About Twisted Oaks Repair
Real repairs. No runaround.
Twisted Oaks Repair is a mobile repair service for anything with a small engine. Generators and lawn equipment make up most of the work, along with chainsaws, small tractors, quads, UTVs, side-by-sides and electric tools.
Not many people offer what Twisted Oaks offers. A lot of customers cannot afford the time, or cannot physically lift and haul their machinery to a shop. So the repair comes to them, right where the equipment sits.
When a job needs special tools or more time, the equipment is picked up, repaired at the shop and delivered back. Drop offs and pickups at the shop are by appointment only, and the shop is closed to visitors.

Meet the owner
Thomas Shulte, owner and mechanic.
Thomas runs Twisted Oaks Repair himself. When you call, text or email, you reach the person who will actually work on your equipment.
He built the business around a simple need he saw in western Sonoma County: plenty of people own generators, mowers and ranch equipment, but very few can easily get that equipment to a repair shop.
Beyond repairs, Thomas handles tune-ups, engine building, welding and custom battery cables, plus scheduled monthly or bimonthly service for businesses, wineries, vineyards and ranches.
If you cannot get your machine to the shop, I will bring the shop to you.

About half of the work is generators and most of the rest is lawn equipment. Chainsaws, small tractors, quads, UTVs, side-by-sides and electric tools are repaired too.

For breakdowns that cannot wait until regular hours, including evenings and Friday through Sunday.

Yes. Pickup and drop-off are by appointment only. The shop is closed to visitors, so text or call first to set a time.
Regular shop labor is $90/hour and on-site repairs are $100/hour. Emergency labor is $180/hour plus the service call fee. Parts and other applicable charges are additional.
Yes, by appointment. Pickup and delivery is $80, a good option if your equipment is hard to move or lift.
